The inner shape of my personality

Title: The inner shape of my personality
Medium: mobile phone
Year: 2017

With my mobile phone, I drew simple lines and colors, each one reflecting the chaos around me. This drawing, like many others, was my way of trying to make sense of the war in Syria. In the middle of all the destruction, I wanted to understand the true shape of my personality, to discover who I really was. Each drawing was a search, a way to find the hidden parts of myself, lost and seeking meaning in a world falling apart.

Anatomy of Movement

Title: Anatomy of Movement
Medium: recycled metal
Year: 2011

These metal sculptures were created in 2011 as part of my graduation project.
The concept was based on using the form of a fish as a symbol of movement and harmony — seen as a basic muscular structure shared by many living creatures. I used recycled metal scrap and assembled the sculptures through electric welding. The choice of metal created a deliberate contrast between material and concept. Each sculpture was shaped in a different style to express a range of emotions and to invite the viewer to explore multiple layers of meaning.

Kitzelig

Title: Kitzelig
Medium: digital camera
Year: 2018

Kitzelig (2018) is a collage photography book composed entirely of photographs I took at the Zoological Museum in Hamburg. The project aims to dissolve the distinct identities of the creatures depicted, using abstraction — through lines, forms, and colors — to highlight their shared essence. By removing context and detail, the work invites the viewer to see beyond species, surface, and classification, and instead reflect on the visual and existential unity of all living beings.
